Orders & Traders Guide - Who Buys What

Trader orders, looter orders and the vendors of Graveyard Keeper 2: who sells what, who pays best and the stock worth watching.

Quick Answer: Who Do I Trade With?

Orders come on two tracks โ€” Trader Orders and Looter Orders โ€” and a handful of named merchants cover the specialities. Herm trades in the Village, Januarius runs the Village Tavern, Gunter the Astrologer and the Alchemist both sell Reanimation Liquid for your resurrection habit, and the Jeweler crafts the three Zombie Collar tiers once you reach his tier II and III. Learn who wants what and the order board stops being a wall of noise and becomes a production plan.

Gunter and the Alchemist are your Reanimation Liquid suppliers until Laboratory II can craft it โ€” price your zombie expansion against their stock, not against zero.

Trader Orders vs Looter Orders

Orders arrive on two parallel tracks: Trader Orders and Looter Orders. Check both boards on your rounds โ€” they draw on different parts of your economy, so one track tends to be fillable on production days and the other fits the days you are out fighting or salvaging around the six-day cycle. Twenty-five completed town orders over the run earns Merchants' Best Friend, which is the natural finish line for order-driven play, and the first order you ever complete is itself an achievement (Open for Business).

  • Trader Orders: one of the two order boards โ€” keep it supplied from automated production.
  • Looter Orders: the second board โ€” pair it with your combat and exploration days.
  • Merchants' Best Friend: 25 town orders completed.

Shops as an Investment

Restoration does not just fix houses โ€” it opens shop fronts. Building the network of Tier I shops is its own economy milestone (Patron of merchants wants 11 of them), and each shop widens what you can buy and sell without leaving the Town. The order of operations matters: restore the houses near your trade routes first, so the shops you unlock are shops you actually pass. Fifteen repaired houses total earns Urban Planner, and there are only sixteen in the Town to find.

Shops you restore become traders you rely on โ€” sequence restoration so the Jeweler reaches tier II before your zombie horde outgrows Bronze collars.
